On November 17, 2022, the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce and The Abbotsford News presented the Business Excellence Awards event to recognize outstanding organizations and individuals in Abbotsford that strive for excellence in our community.

Business Excellence Award recipients are Leaders in their industry with a commitment to Customer Service, a concern for the Community, and a passion for Innovation.

Fraser Valley Métis Association (FVMA) is a non-profit organization that is entirely run by a small number of volunteers and this award is warmly welcomed and acknowledges all the hard work and dedication. There is also an honour to be among the fellow nominees and FVMA could not be on this list without partnerships and a strong Metis community.
