FVMA’s First Métis Music Night
Join us for a Métis Music Night on May 1, 2026 from 6:00–8:00 PM at our new location! This will be an exciting evening led by a talented guest Métis musician, Keith Hill with the support of our very own board members and Métis music enthusiasts, Jen Sanderson and Fergus Dalton, bringing us together through song, rhythm, and storytelling in a welcoming community space.
The night will begin with live music and sharing, and we hope it naturally grows into a relaxed jam session where everyone feels encouraged to participate. Whether you’re an experienced musician or just curious and wanting to listen, all levels are welcome. This is a space to learn from one another, connect, and explore what Métis music means to each of us.
We’ll also take time to network, share stories, and build relationships within our community through music. Bring your instrument if you have one—or just bring yourself and your love of music!
We aspire to make it the first of many regular music nights, creating an ongoing space for creativity, connection, and community celebration. Don’t miss this chance to be part of something special from the very beginning!
