Urgent Privacy Notice:
We have recently received notice that FVMA’s chartered community members are being contacted without consent, violating their personal privacy. This constitutes the second data breach involving the same appellants responsible for the ongoing financial breach discovered on April 14, 2024. As dedicated volunteers, we remain diligent in upholding transparency, accountability, and our commitment to fiduciary and natural laws, particularly in protecting our community’s privacy and well-being. We take this matter seriously and are addressing these breaches in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other relevant regulations. Any unauthorized contact or misuse of community data is a violation of privacy laws and may result in legal consequences.

To ensure a safe and respectful environment, we remind all attendees of the following:
Respectful Attendance – Please uphold the 12 Métis Values and honor our shared commitment to integrity, respect, and accountability.
Host and Venue Guidelines – We are grateful to our hosts and volunteers. Attendees are expected to adhere to the Abbotsford School District’s on-site behavior and safety rules while at the venue.

FVMA’s Commitment – As a registered non-profit under the BC Societies Act, we are bound by legal and ethical obligations to serve our community with transparency, integrity, and respect.
Meal Details:
A base meal of Soup and Bannock will be ready upon arrival. Community members are welcome to bring a dish to share. Please also bring your own dishware to help lessen waste and honor the land.
We encourage community members to attend the AGM in a spirit of unity, ensuring that our discussions remain productive and in alignment with our shared Métis values. Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us directly at www.fvma.ca
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
