The Fraser Valley Métis Association (FVMA) recently showcased the rich culture and heritage of the Métis community in a captivating video made by MNBC. 

The video also emphasizes the role of fostering a strong, supportive community through cultural connections such as educational programs, cultural workshops, and social events.

FVMA continues to be a pillar of cultural preservation and community engagement, celebrating the distinct identity and contributions of the Métis people in the Fraser Valley.

May 2024 – We’re excited to invite you to join us in supporting community as they participate in the Region 26 Contest 2024!

Sweet Adelines Region 26

Sweet AdelinesRegion 26 is a vibrant community of singers committed to musical excellence in barbershop harmony and the promotion of personal growth and development through education, leadership opportunities and competition.

Our fellow community member has been working tirelessly to prepare for this event, and we believe that their performance will be nothing short of spectacular.

The Sweet Adelines Region 26 Contest 2024 will be ​b​roadcast via webcast from May 9th to May 12th.

Webcast tickets are $30 for the entire 4-day event, and our community member is performing on May 11, 2024, at around 11:45 am PST.

Your unwavering commitment and selfless dedication were the driving forces behind the seamless execution of this important event. From setting up the venue to coordinating logistics, spreading awareness, and providing invaluable support to attendees, each and every one of you played an integral role in creating a meaningful and impactful experience.

Your generosity and enthusiasm not only helped raise awareness about the critical issue of MMIWG2S+ but also demonstrated the power of community coming together to effect positive change.

To our volunteers: Your tireless efforts and boundless enthusiasm exemplify the true spirit of volunteerism. Your willingness to lend a helping hand and go above and beyond to ensure the success of this event is truly commendable.
